Travel to Ghana for Juneteenth. Join our African Heritage Tour and Celebrate Juneteenth in the Motherland
June 19th 1865, marks the
end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth is a time to celebrate liberation with joy and hope for better to come.We invite you to come to Ghana to explore this country’s unique
links to African American history.
Over a period of 400 years millions of Africans were shipped from the dungeons on Ghana’s
coast. While many died on the high seas, those that reached the Americas entered a life of servitude under the system of chattel slavery that attempted to dehumanize them and break them
physically and spiritually
—And yet, their descendants have survived and flourished.
Visit Ghana and explore its connections to African American history.
Whether you want a Ghana vacation or want to immerse yourself in the culture and history, you will not be disappointed.
We know all the best places to visit in Ghana so we will
make your trip to Ghana an amazing travel experience.
