DAY 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa (Light Activities)

> Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, a representative will welcome and transfer you to your hotel. Given varying flight times, today's program is light and flexible. You might enjoy a city orientation drive or traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony or relax at the hotel to recover.

DAY 2: Addis Ababa City Tour & Nightlife Experience

> After breakfast, we will begin the day with a visit to Unity Park, exploring Ethiopia’s history and culture within the Grand Palace. In the Afternoon, we will visit the Ethnological Museum at Addis Ababa University. Do some local craft shopping. We end the day with a cultural dinner with traditional music and dance.

DAY 3: Addis Ababa Highlights

> Visit the National Museum of Ethiopia, home to the 3.2-million-year-old fossil “Lucy” and other remarkable archaeological treasures. Afterwards, continue to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the final resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie and Empress Menen Asfaw, renowned for its stained-glass windows and beautiful artwork.

DAY 4: Fly to Bahir Dar | Blue Nile Falls & Lake Tana

> After breakfast, we head to the airport for a short flight to Bahir Dar, a vibrant lakeside city on the shores of Lake Tana, Ethiopia’s largest lake and the source of the Blue Nile River. Upon arrival, embark on a boat excursion across Lake Tana to visit the ancient island monasteries, such as Ura Kidane Mihret, adorned with colorful murals.

DAY 5: Bahir Dar | Second Day at Blue Nile Falls

> This day is dedicated to further exploring Bahir Dar and its surroundings. In the morning, take a relaxed excursion back to the Blue Nile Falls for photography, birdwatching, and a closer look at the stunning natural scenery

> In the afternoon, visit nearby villages to interact with local farmers and artisans, gaining insight into rural life around Lake Tana. Alternatively, you may choose to enjoy the facilities of your resort, with options for spa treatments or swimming. The evening is at leisure by the lakeshore.

DAY 6: Fly from Bahir Dar to Addis Ababa – Lalibela

> After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Lalibela. On arrival, begin your exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage Site with a visit to the first group of rock-hewn churches, masterpieces of medieval architecture carved from volcanic rock in the 12th century.

> Highlights include Bet Medhane Alem, believed to be the largest monolithic church in the world, and Bet Maryam, with its remarkable frescoes.

DAY 7: Lalibela Full-Day Exploration

> In the morning, continue with the second group of churches, which includes Bet GabrielRufael, Bet Abba Libanos, and the cave-like Bet Merkorios. Each of these structures reveals unique aspects of Ethiopia’s Christian heritage

> In the afternoon, visit the iconic Bet Giyorgis (St. George’s Church), carved in the shape of a perfect cross and perhaps the most celebrated of all the Lalibela churches. This spiritual and architectural marvel is the highlight of the day.

DAY 8: Fly from Lalibela to Addis Ababa (Shopping & Cultural Night)

> After breakfast, fly back to Addis Ababa. On arrival, enjoy the afternoon shopping at Shiro Meda, known for its handwoven cotton garments, or explore local artisan galleries for unique souvenirs.

> In the evening, celebrate the conclusion of your journey with a farewell cultural dinner, featuring Ethiopia’s most beloved dishes and a lively performance of music and dance.

DAY 9: Visit Entoto Park and Departure Day

> Depending on the time of your departure, you might have time to visit Entoto Park, located in the eucalyptus-covered hills overlooking Addis Ababa. The park offers panoramic views, walking trails, cultural pavilions, and a refreshing escape from the city below.
